Texas High School Rugby Championship April 26th & 27th

Crowne Plaza-Houston Suites, 9090 SW Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77074 and is about 1.5 miles from the pitch – Call (713) 995-0123 ask for IN HOUSE RESERVATION. Request the Texas High School Rugby Championship rate, the rate is $99 flat (king or two queens) and includes a full, American breakfast for up to four persons in a room. All of our accommodations are two-room suites with a separate living room and bedroom. The rate extends to all schools participating in the tournament, faculty, parents, friends, etc. as long as they identify themselves as being associated with the tournament.

Team Check-in and Registration:
Each team will have a check in time stating at 10:00 a.m. at the playing fields. Teams will have check-in according to team kick offs and schedule. Please be on time and have all necessary documentation available. ALL Players will need photo ID’s at registration. Each team should have with them a BINDER (to be given to the TYRA representatives for record keeping) the following information.

1. 2007-2008 TRYA Club Participation Agreement
2. 2008 High School Roster and Check List with Instructions
3. High School Eligibility Form
4. Copies of EACH player’s CIPP Form
5. Copies of Each player’s Birth Certificate and a Photo ID or Passport (a passport will suffice as proof of citizenship and photo identification).

Individuals not having these items available at check in will result in having players or teams not being able to participate in the Championships. Please have all items available at check in.

On Sat evening there will be a planned TYRA Banquet with a USA Rugby Guest Speaker and announcement of the All-Star Teams and Coaches (for the rugby players, coaches and all staff) following the last match played at about 8:00 pm until about 10:00 pm
